1919年の開校からわずか14年間存在し、今日の建築・デザイン界に多大な影響を及ぼしている総合芸術教育機関「Bauhaus」。
テクタは、1972年にドイツで創立して以来、マルセル・ブロイヤーやミース・ファン・デル・ローエ、ヴァルター・グロピウスなどがデザインした、バウハウスを代表する数々の名作家具を復刻しています。考え抜かれた機能性を持つバウハウスのオリジナル家具と、その思想を現代の解釈でデザインした家具を作り続け、バウハウスのデザイン哲学を現代へと継承しています。

BAUHAUS, a comprehensive artwork education institution existed for only 14 years since its opening in 1919, has had a tremendous influence upon today's world of architecture and design.
Since its establishment in Germany in 1972, TECTA have re-editioned many masterpieces of Bauhaus furniture designed by Marcel Breuer, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Walter Gropius and others. The company continues to preserve and review the best ideas and designs of modernism as created by the Bauhaus movement furniture, in addition to a modern interpretation of the Bauhaus philosophy, passing on the Bauhaus design philosophy to the present day.
